Always in sync, with new order sounds

The display keeps syncing through Wi-Fi and Shopify outages, counts busy days correctly, and lets you pick a new order sound. This version uses a new flash layout, so installing it erases the device. Re-enter your Wi-Fi and Shopify settings afterwards.

Stays in sync

Recovers after power cuts and network drops, and counts stores with more than 50 orders a day correctly.

Order sounds

Five sounds with volume control and quiet hours. Test them with the Simulate New Order button.

Install Firmware

Before You Begin

  • Connect your EleksCava device to your computer via USB
  • Make sure no other program is using the serial port
  • The device will restart automatically after installation
  • Do not disconnect during the update process
  • Installing erases the whole device, including Wi-Fi and Shopify settings. This avoids errors when the flash layout changes between versions.
  • Have your Wi-Fi password and Shopify Client ID and Client Secret (or access token) ready to enter again

Keeps syncing through Wi-Fi and Shopify outages, counts busy days correctly, and adds selectable new order sounds with volume and quiet hours. New flash layout: the device is fully erased during installation.

Setup Guide

Create and Install Shopify App

  1. Login to Shopify Admin
  2. Open the Shopify Dev Dashboard and create an app
  3. Add the Admin API scope read_orders
  4. Release the app version and install it to your store
  5. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from app Settings

Configure Device

  1. Power on device, it enters AP mode automatically
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi: EleksCava-XXXX
  3. Visit http://192.168.4.1 in browser
  4. Configure Wi-Fi and Shopify credentials
  5. Choose Auto Refresh for automatic token renewal, or Manual Token for an externally generated access token
  6. Save and restart
